We live in a harsh world, with exquisite islands of sweetness and beauty and trancendance. I seem to have a call to look at the darkness as well, to hold it in sacred space as the polarity of light that it is, knowing that the essence of both light and dark are the same, come from the same unified field, same Source--a concept the egoic mind cannot grasp, but our hearts can. This image, once again, breaks my heart open... Some are called to bear witness to these horrors and allow our hearts to be broken open into greater love and others have another calling or path in service to the world... Om Shanti Shanti... May all beings be at peace...
